2009 March 2nd place People’s choice award at Aylmer Spring Exhibition.

2005 Recipient from the NWT Arts Council for a Grant. From the archives of the Northern Life Museum in Fort Smith NT, painting images on canvas.

2005 May Canada Aviation Museum in Ottawa a painting awarded second place at the Artflight Exhibition and competition. Three paintings selected for the year long exhibition.

2004 June People’s choice award and 2nd place award for member’s show at the annual International juried exhibition for CAAA at Aerospace museum in Calgary.

2003 Honourable mention award at Art Flight juried exhibition at Canada Aviation museum in Ottawa.

2003 Summer People’s choice and Artist’s choice awards for flatwork at the Great Northern Arts Festival in Inuvik.

2002 Recipient of the Golden Jubilee Medal on the occasion of the fiftieth Anniversary of the accession of Her Majesty the Queen to the Throne.

2002: Award Par Excellence at the EAA Sport Art Competition in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Painting exhibited at the EAA Air Venture Museum for a year.

2001 Second place in General Aviation and an honourable mention, awards given by the Aviation Week & Space Technology Magazine at Artflight 2001 in Ottawa.

2001 First member’s show award at the CAAA/ASAA joined forum in Ottawa..

2001 Awarded 2nd prize at the Artflight 2001 at the Canada Aviation Museum in Ottawa.

2001 The winning entry for the EAA Sport Art Competition was chosen to be the image to promote their 25th anniversary Exhibition. The image was displayed in national and international magazines, newspapers and invitation cards. The painting opened the 2001 Art Exhibition.

2000 Award of Excellence at the EAA Sport Aviation Art Competition in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Painting exhibited at the EAA Air Venture Museum for a year.

2000 Artist’s choice and People’s choice awards for 2 dimensional works at the Great Northern Arts Festival in Inuvik, Northwest Territories.

1999 3rd price and honourable mention for 2 paintings submitted at the Annual Wildlife Art Competition in Saskatchewan.

1998-99 Grant from the NWT Arts Council to produce a number of paintings of the Canadian Rangers. In collaboration with Colonel J.G.P.Leblanc commandant of the Department of Canadian Forces Northern Region.

1997 Award for Emerging artist at the Great Northern Arts Festival in Inuvik Northwest Territories.

Commissions

2008 Great Slave Helicopter commission a number of paintings over the year.

2007 First Air airline makes a production of Giclée of a painting for the company and associates.

2006 Mondial Aviation makes a production of Giclée of a painting for the company.

2004 Dec Canada Aviation Museum in Ottawa published a series of 500 Christmas Art Cards with a painting “Karl the Flying Trapper”. A painting that makes its home at the museum.

2004 Oct Commissioned by the Town of Fort Smith to paint a scenery for a Life size buffalo. Painting 8’x 4’ in display in the Town Hall.

2004 June Commissioned by Northern Life Museum in Fort Smith, NT to paint 5 panels for the permanent display of the whooping cranes. Each canvas 6’x 4’ depicting a nesting area and living quarters of the famous Canus in captivity.

2007 Department of Canadian Forces Northern Region for a painting representing the Canadian Rangers.
